End of the Year post

Another year of regretting not posting in my blog enough as I so enjoy it to look back on. Its been an interesting year with ups and downs, challenges and triumphs. Seen a rustic rural area of Southern Spain that was stunning and spent time with my ever loving and faithful family. Got my first Tattoo too....,

Ok end of the review..............

NEXT year its crunch time. As I write this post, in exactly 8 months 31/08/2015, I will be finished my placements and hopefully heading to University for the last time to hand in my paper work and become a Qualified Nurse. I WILL(starting serious diet and exercise after the Vol au vent feast on Hogmanay)  be doing that 2 stone lighter though maybe limping as on the 30th August I have the 16 mile Kilt Walk!

Instead of Uni work today on my Diabetes Essay I though it best to get my instagram to link to my blog instead. That way when I do not post a written post I can at least post a pic. I aim to do all the above AND post a daily thing on here next year.

Week 1 15/10/14

Well week one slimming was .. Ok. I had a maintain! No big first week loss but understandable why. 'Twas my birthday this weekend past and I enjoyed it. Had a lovely day that ended with steak and markies new creme brûlée which was amazing. Between that and the Pms munchies it's no wonder I had no weight loss.
Finger out now, 10 gym sessions bought and street pounding starts again on Tuesday nights.

Fingers crossed I can post a loss next week!

Spain 2014

Spent 10 days in the south of Spain. Well off the normal tourist path of British holiday makers. In fact it was mostly Spanish. So rustic rural and completely Spain. Not a fish and chip shop or fastfood  takeaway in the area. A few of my fav pics from my phone.

Should really be sleeping....

Night shift on hot days ain't good. Could not sleep in the heat so got ip and went to the woods.. Now I have to go back and see if I can grab a few more zzzzz or it will be a long night.

Staying on track...

Staying on track and not slipping down the slippery slope when dieting is so hard!
Today's lunch is bacon, egg, doughnut peach and chopped baked potato salad. Was ok....

Sunny day reading

Sadly all I read these days are nursing books. I would truly love to pick up some more normal summer fiction but I feel so guilty when I do. Maybe in Spain I will try to relax and read some nice easy reading.......

Life's simple pleasures

Dog walking with Frodo, Fizzy and Archie, a simple pleasure in life. I do so love the woods

Kelly's first car!

My sister in law bought a cheap run around to use between jobs. She is off to Bermuda so has kindly given Kelly her car.

First cars are always special no matter how long they last. I adored my first wee car. A blue Citroen!

Supper with the seals

Lovely place to stop, eat a chippy supper and watch the seals. Lovely end to a Sunday afternoon out.

Grave yard walk

Found ourselves today in a very old graveyard. Fascinating place
Up behind a farm gate.
Marcus on the path up.
Long path up with the traditional Scottish sky
Quaint wee chapel within the graveyard
Marcus at the wee door
Love the old stones.
I loved what is written about this lady.....

"Barbara the last surviving daughter if the family, who departed this life on the 20th August 1823 in the 86 of her age and whose benevolence, charity to the poor and amiable manners gained her the general and just respect and esteem of all ranks of society where she was known."

Closing the gate on leaving.
