Day 29 of my pic a day challenge. Procrastinating is something I am a natural at and today I am excelling at it. I am a Key Handler for moving and handing at work and tomorrow is my annual update and exam. Never have a ran so fast to empty the washing machine, dryer or dishwasher as soon as they beep! Study sucks

Day 25 of my pic a day challenge. Out for a run with mike and Malf as I restart the c25k for the hundredth time! Also being Scottish, today is Burns day on which haggis neeps and tatties are eaten. For the past few years I have often bought the vegetarian haggis which we also like. It tastes pretty much exactly the same as the traditional but I find it does not come back on me for hours like normal haggis, which is handy as I am off to begin 4 nightshifts.

Day 21 of my pic a day challenge. I never have baths as I am very much a shower person but had one last night. The thought of a nice relaxing bath is always good but reality of it pains me. The modern bath we have is horrible, Double ended and you slide up and down. Then you lie there in your own gunk and have to shower after it anyways. Well that was bath 1 of the year. I dare say I will attempt a couple more over the year.

Day 19 of pic a day challenge. It’s always harder to find a pic when I am on nightshift. I was reading a book on my kindle app on my phone just now thinking what would I take a pic of today. Books. I love a good book. Trashy romance novels, sci Fi and cowboy ones are my tipple. Need to read more. This is the first book of the year apart from the broons that is!

Day 15 of my pic a day challenge. Sun is out so conservatory is warm and usable and lovely. Favourite room in the house 75% of the year. We don’t waste energy by attempting to heat it in the winter as it simply goes out the roof. But even a wee bit of winter sun makes it cozy. As always first one in is Mr Malf followed by the cats then me with a coffee.

Day 14 of my pic a day challenge. Breakfast date at McDonald’s after my 4 night shifts. Seriously being an Nhs nurse in the acute sector over winter needs more that a sausage and egg McMuffin as a reward! My date was away to sit his higher English pre limb which went well I was told. I think it was the pancakes and hot chocolate and bacon roll that set him up. Diet restarts tomorrow. It was oh so tasty too.
