I ain't partial to spiders in general but there webs are fascinating in the right weather conditions. Today in the woods there was a damp harr. Camera did not do them justice.

Inspire me....

 There has been some viral posts, mean post and stuff on the web but I saw this in bed this morning and it seriously got to me. I, heart of steel, shed a wee tear. Maybe cause it cuts close to home and it could be me running. I am so so dam slow. It's only week two and I am pretty sure I could walk faster than I run. The running style in this describes me to a tee. Saying that however something about it inspired me to keep at it. Running again tomorrow with my ever patient husband who inspires me and boots my ass out the door.

“To the fatty running on the Westview track this afternoon:

You, whose feet barely lift off the ground as you trudge around the track. You, who keeps to the outside lane, footslogging in the wrong direction. You, who stops for water breaks every lap, and who would probably stop twice a lap if there were bleachers on both sides. You, whose gaze drops to your feet every time we pass. You, whose sweat drenches your body after you leave, completing only a single, 20-minute mile.

First week results are in!

Well it was weigh in night tonight. After being back on slimming world for a week and taking up jogging it was crunch time! Every day since I started it I was either running the C25k app or walking a few miles. Dieting was ok, could of watched it a bit better. 

LOST 2 POUNDS! Delighted!!

Pic is of my evening meal tonight. I always eat before I get weighted. This was home make pork meat balls with salad, grated beetroot, carrots and boiled eggs with a small helping of ceasers dressing. I love a salad that has a hot content in it.
Will keep at it for next week!

First week of running completed



After starting my couch to 5k this week I am chuffed to say I completed my first week. Read some good tips before today's run about slowing it right down, then when i had slowed it down, to slow it down some more. That was three in my first week. Happy happy!

Slimming World again


So it is beginning ......again, again again! God dammit, sometimes I am such a failure. I started this blog way way back when I started slimming world the first time! Having lost 1 stone 10 pounds I have gained all but 2 pounds back on. So want to slap myself.  I tried calorie counting but it didn't work for me. What does is sensible eating and exercise.
So.....instead back to it. Rejoined last night starting fresh. After the meeting I went straight to the supermarket.

First run....again

Well today saw my first run (AGAIN). I am going to follow the NHS couch to 5k podcast. Just need to get some head phones that stay in my lugs as I run!

So going to loose the weight as 17 weeks today I am heading to Spain! Viva Espana!
