I have not written a post in a long time but since my Instagram is linked to here it is always updated.
I am currently on week 10, well really week 9 of 5;2 fast 800 dieting as a new way of life. I say really week 9 as the first week i didn't get on board till 2 days before the weekly weigh in with Mike. But week 10 it now is.
I am writing this for it to be a reminder to me of how far I have come, how far I still have to go and how easy it is to let it slip and all would be gone!
Its been a very easy journey for me so far. The first 7 weeks were effortless. the more I got into this way of life the easier it became. That was maybe my 1st mistake.
I then of course became complacent. a wee bit more on my plate, lets add chips, lets have carbs a bit more, lets have cake 4 times in the week. Finally I had a chippy supper which, in retrospect now was the catalyst for the wee slip. Something happens when we eat fried carbs, I naturally crave more and more carbs. I felt myself over the next few days make excuses for my cravings. the weather, the time of the month etc etc. The truth is it was me. I ate it, I craved it, I caved and had it.
And I would and will do it again, its life, this time however I will be well aware of the effect it has on me and get back on this way of life straight after.
Why this post. To remind me that I am doing so well.

Loads of clothes away!
Down a size in clothes and loads that did not fit in years now fit.
Mirror reflection is better!
I can do this! I will do this! I want to lose the same again as I have lost.
February I was 14 st 12.5 pounds!
I did slimming world for a wee bit.
When I started this 5;2 fast 800 way of life I was 14 st 9 pounds.
Last weigh in I was 13 st 1 pounds!!
14 stone 12.5 in February to 13 stone 1 pounds.
Goal weight. 11 stone something.......
small steps however,
My next goal is to get to be 12 stone something. Then to get to 2 stone off which would be 12:12.5, then to get to 12:9 which is 2 stone since 5;2 started. Then take it from there. seems very odd still though, I almost went to correct the previous sentences as I feel they should be 13 stone numbers not 12 stone!!
I have started ( yet again) the Couch to 5k plan as I need to tone up the wobbly bits.
Diary of me, my weight loss.... ( HAH! ) exercise ....(YEAH RIGHT!), cooking success's and failures and pretty much what ever else enters my head throughout my life.
