Day 58 of my pic a day challenge. I could post a pic of my day BUT it’s Malfs 5th Birthday today! I will pick him up a gift before I head home from this 2 day course in Aberdeen but wow 5 years since this completely different bizarre fluffy Rasta dog was born and was destined to live with us! ( and no, he is no labradoodle or such he is half Irish water spaniel crosses with a terrier x whippet)

Day 52. I had this screenshot I was going to post as I thought it was funny and true. But after 3 busy day shifts I completely forgot to post it! So it’s in retrospect from yesterday. Social media generally annoys me. I hate and don’t have snapshite. Don’t like Twitter. Tolerate Facebook only for messaging but I do obviously like Instagram!

Day 45 of my pic a day challenge. Lots today.went to Inverness today to get my iPhone battery changed so let’s hope it’s no longer on 4 times a day charge! While there got a cool frame for my lovely poppy watercolour my amazing husband Mike painted did me. I then make a steak supper so Happy Valentines Day. I am stuffed

Lovely day to restart. Sun is shining as I sat and wrote my menu for the week. This will be Mike and I doing round 2 of the fast 800 seriously. We both have never quite stopped it for meal times but have ventured far enough away that the weight is creeping back on. Today is day 1 of our second round of 12 weeks. We both lost 2 stone last time though mike has less to loose I would love another 2 stone off to bring me bang in the middle of my healthy weight for my height. As before we will be following the fast 800 diet and are planning the first week to be 800 calories a day as a kick start. After that we will go to more a 5:2 diet where we only do 800 calories twice a week while following a healthy Mediterranean diet other days. Because I have more to loose I will try to do more 800 days. I am strangely looking forward to the restart. Day 41 of my pic a day challenge. I feel so much better when I drink plenty and i only normally drink coffee. However I can drink plenty of water or squash if I have it in a fancy water bottle. I do drink about 2-3 of these on a working shift but at home I fail so today sees me aim for 2 of water. I love my Aladdin bottles @aladdineurope

Day 40 of my pic a day challenge. This is a view I won’t be seeing for over a week as I am on holiday. It’s the long corridor down in the dungeons of the hospital that leads to the locker room. Day 36 of my pic a day challenge. Fancied soup but I could not decide what to make so I made 2. In the soup maker on the left is lentil and bacon, Traditional warming and hearty. On the right was a made up one using sweet potato, butternut squash and coconut milk with some spices to make it almost a sweet curry soup. Also delicious. Least that is me sorted for the next 2 days at work
